Prohibition, smoky back rooms, moonshine, flapper dancers, cigarette ‘girls’ and men in wide ties and stylish brims. Our team at DDCC was recently asked to take you back to the feel and style of a “Speakeasy” evening for a client’s annual fundraising event.

Creating an online save-the-date and print invitation is an extra special event in and of itself here at DDCC. Our team settles into our comfy couch conference room with plenty of snacks, projects dozens of images on our big screen and lets our ideas fly. We brainstorm colors, phrases, genre, and images. We free flow even our most outlandish ideas, and we build on each other’s coolest thoughts. The two or three visual directions that come out of all this really does reflect our best work.

Too much brainstorming for an annual event invitation? We don’t think so. We see our charge as much more: setting a lively tone for the event, inspiring donors and attendees, and creating an irresistible spirit our audience just can’t ignore.
